Fashion Highlights...

Emma Stone in Elie Saab

Jennifer Lopez in Elie Saab

Rosamund Pike in Givenchy

These three ladies were total fashion highlights on the red carpet. They each stood out and embodied Hollywood glamour. Emma Stone sparkled in Elie Saab. The dress was gorgeously detailed and I loved the matching shoe. This is the perfect example of a look working head to toe. Emma has been a fashion powerhouse the last few award seasons. She manages to bring the high fashion edge and blend it seamlessly with her own personality. Being a comedic actress, she has definitely surprised me in becoming this fashion girl. Jennifer Lopez. what else is there even left to say? Jennifer. Jennifer. JENNIFER. She had a major Cinderella moment in Elie Saab. She floated down the red carpet in her elegant gown and turned heads per usual standing out from the column gowns that surrounded her. Rosamund Pike was perfection in Givenchy. From the bold color of the gown to her minimalist jewelry everything worked together seamlessly. This was a major year for Rosamund with Gone Girl being such a hit film. For some reason, this award season, I thought she looked just "bleh" at best. When she stepped onto the red carpet for the oscars, all eyes were on her. The silhouette accentuated her killer hourglass shape(remember, she just recently had a baby)! Hats off to you ladies. Although none of them took home an award, they were all WINNING!

Fashion Lows...

Nicole Kidman in Louis Vuitton

Jared Leto in Givenchy

Blanca Blanco in WHO CARES

Along with all of the glamour that flooded the oscar red carpet, there were some tragic misses as well. Nicole Kidman was a flop in Louis Vuitton. In the past, Nicole has proved herself as a red carpet heavy weight. Not so much this time. I found the fabric of the gown to look cheap and her hair and makeup didn't make sense either. The red band on the gown looked like red duct tape attempting to save something that was a loss from the beginning. Jared Leto...Stop. Do something with your hair and stop it. Do better. I found his Givenchy suit to not be the worst thing ever, but his awkward white shoes looked heavy.  Slick your hair back, and GET IT TOGETHER. I have no idea who Bianca Blanco is and I do not care at this point. She looked silly and needs to fire her team ASAP. Her dress looked like grilled meat of some sort to me. I don't even know who her dress is by because I honestly don't care.

The highs, the lows, the good, and the bad. This years oscar red carpet had it all. From Cinderella to grilled meat (insert laugh), there was never a bored moment. Next year I want to see the Glamour taken to the next level. Who was your favorite? Who could you not stand? We want to hear from you! Comment below and share your thoughts. Until next year Oscar red carpet: Couture Kisses!
